2018 Parish Appreciation Picnic

Jul 30, 2018

Our annual parish appreciation picnic will be held Sunday, Sept. 16 from noon to 4pm on the school grounds.  Last year, thousands of parishioners attended and we can’t wait to see you (again) this year after the 11am Sunday Mass.  (11am Mass in the church (English) and Spanish Mass in Deasy Hall - no 1:30 pm Spanish Mass on picnic day.)

This annual parish event requires many volunteers before, during and after the picnic and you can sign up to volunteer here.  (Paper forms will be available at the welcome desk.for those without computer access beginning Saturday, August 4.)

The picnic’s popular “Hometown Way” features tents set up on the school fields which represent the many states/countries that our parishioners call home.  The tents are decorated and offer hospitality from parishioners who staff them throughout the afternoon.  Click here to see if your “hometown” has a tent and sign up to help.  Or, if no tent yet exists for your hometown, you can start one!  (Hometown Way volunteer registration is a separate sign-up; it’s not part of the general picnic volunteer sign-up.)  (Paper forms will be available at the welcome desk for those without computer access beginning Saturday, August 4.)

All picnic questions to picnic co-chairs Bridget Carter  or Vic Graffeo.
