Fr. Fallon Appoints POP School President and Interim Ass't Principal
Sep 13, 2018
Fr. Fallon has appointed Kelly Doss as president of Prince of Peace Catholic School, effective September 12, 2018. Mr. Doss will also continue in his role as parish operations manager. As president, he will oversee the school environment, supervise the principal, direct all human resources, handle parent relations and serve as a bridge between the school and parish. This newly-created position of president also serves to allow the principal and assistant principal to focus on instruction, which is the most critical day-to-day function of a school. The president/principal model for school administration has become very common among Catholic and private schools across the country.
In addition, Fr. Fallon has appointed Bridget Carter as interim assistant principal, upon the retirement of Dr. Joseph O’Toole. Mrs. Carter has served in many capacities within the church and school over the past fourteen years, most recently as a middle school homeroom and religion teacher.
Please join us in welcoming and thanking Kelly and Bridget for their willingness to serve our school students, faculty and parents in these new roles.
