Little minds want to expand just as rapidly as do their little bodies. Thus, it is vital that their neurons are firing on full blast to maximize their cognitive learning potential. Children of this age love both a nurturing routine and the thrill of newness, so our program is dedicated to offering them the best of both through the guidance of loving teachers who are attentive to each child's specific needs.
Our preschool team carefully designs each day to create meaningful and positive experiences for your child. While children will only recognize what an incredibly fun time they have every day, they are actually learning through our fun and stimulating activities.
Embedded in our program is everything your child will need for a successful kindergarten experience. We begin with morals and manners, the cornerstone for growing positive Christian citizens. These qualities are taught informally through daily teacher lessons and social play interactions, and formally through our Seed Program, a weekly publication for faith foundation. To ensure that pre-reading and pre-math skills are comfortably learned by all, a variety of educational approaches from singing to drawing are incorporated to address all learning styles. Through a carefully designed class structure, our students grow in their ability to adapt to directions, learn order, and are at ease when following routine.
When you visit, expect to see us singing in the hallway, participating in daily circle time, racing around with one another at recess, serving in leadership roles in class, exploring our monthly science focus, and immersing ourselves in imaginative play. Our singing talents are best observed during our fall and spring programs presented annually for our families and friends. Oh, and if you can’t find us in our classrooms, we can also be found in “la clase de espanol con Senora Hall,” in the technology lab with Mrs. Argo, in the library with Ms. “B,” in the gym for movement with Mrs. Welch and Mrs. Watkins, and learning music with Ms. JoJo.
Moms and dads are highly informed learning partners as communications are sent home on a daily basis, and they are greeted personally by teachers at morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up carpools.
