Sunday, April 28, 12:30 pm in the chapel.
The devotion to Jesus of the Divine Mercy had its origin in Poland in the 1930's and is now celebrated annually around the world on the first Sunday after Easter at the direction of Saint John Paul II. We will recite the Chaplet of Mercy prayers which were passed on by Jesus in visions to Saint Faustina. Bring your rosary, which will be used for reciting the prayers. We will also have benediction and some quiet time for adoration. Everyone is invited to attend (including children.) This will be a bilingual service. Divine Mercy prayer cards will be available in the gathering space. For more information, contact Deacon Rick DiGiorgio at 205-422-8734.
