New! Parent Support Group Begins 11/22

Are you struggling to raise a youth of high school or college age?  Are you looking for support and guidance in a conversational, confidential environment to help you to shepherd them in their educational, social and faith lives?  If so, our new Sunday small group is for you.  It will begin meeting November 22, 2020 at 9:30 am in the St. John room, which is near the religious education department.

Parishioners Kim LaMaster and Kristen Noles will lead this group.  Both women have a lot of practical experience to share.  Kim is a single working mom who has raised five children (now adults) and is now raising two teenage grandsons.  She said, "They have been incredible teachers and have led me to unknown places in time and emotion.  They have enlightened me with perspective, gifted me with acceptance, and forced escalation of my prayer life.  My Catholic faith has supported me through each step."  Co-leader Kristen said, "I have been brought to my knees in prayer, feeling alone and that I had no control.  In today's world our young adults are faced with so many challenges...a world that tends to forget the goal of everlasting life."
