Our Tuesday morning adult faith study starts anew on December 3 with Popes and the Papacy, Part 2. This study is held in the St. Monica room from 9:30am to 10:30 am through March 3. The study continues with Professor Noble’s insights into the complex and significant role of the papacy and of individual popes in influencing the development of the Catholic Church and, indeed, of Western Civilization itself. His engaging conversational style brings historic events to life and helps our understanding and appreciation of the nature of our Church. All are welcome to attend; it's not necessary to have attended part one of the study.
The class' video instructor Thomas F. X. Noble, Ph.D., is a noted Professor of History at Notre Dame University. He is a well-known lecturer and author of the popular textbook, Western Civilization: The Continuing Experiment.
