In an effort to embrace and welcome parishioners with autism, Down syndrome, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities, we offer sensory-friendly Masses. These Masses, include lower lights, softer music, and shorter more literal homilies. We create an environment free of judgment where everyone can participate in the liturgy according to their ability. Families and individuals are welcome to get up and move during the Mass, to bring alternative seating, fidgets, or noise-cancelling headphones. Sensory materials are also available in the gathering space.
The dates of these Masses will be publicized in the bulletin, our website, and on social media.
