Middle School Youth Group "MSYG" meets Wednesday evenings during the school year from 5:30 pm to 7:30pm at the church. The evening begins with dinner in Deasy Hall and meeting/activities follow in the school cafeteria and gym. Some offsite activities are planned throughout the school year. High School Youth Group "HSYG" meets Wednesday evenings during the school year in the youth room at the school from 6:30 pm to 8:15 pm and on Sunday evenings from 6 pm to 8 pm in the school youth room. This is a time of interactive faith discussions and activities where teens can grow in their faith by discussing real life issues and participating in faith building activities as well as enjoying activities and socializing time in the gym and youth room.
The youth group holds an annual "garage sale" with the Knights of Columbus in July to raise money for their activities. In addition, the group does hands-on local mission work in the Birmingham area, such as Habitat for Humanity. Contact youth minister Hannah Matthews for more information.
