Three-Part Series | Mondays, March 18 – April 1 | Deasy Hall
The Gospel accounts of interactions among Jesus and the Apostles are numerous. They range from almost comical moments when the Apostles try Jesus' patience with their lack of understanding to profound encounters that deeply resonate with Christians. In this series, we will study three great encounters: The Calling of Matthew to Apostleship, the Confession of Peter, in which Peter identifies Jesus as the Messiah, and the Incredulity of Thomas (the "Doubting Thomas" story). These stories appear at the beginning of Christ's ministry, at a critical moment during his ministry, and in one of his appearances to the Apostles after the Resurrection. This series will be led by Dr. Dale Wisely.
