WEDDING PLANNING

wallpapersden.com_black-abstract-4k_5120x2880.jpeg

Matrimony, or marriage, is a sacrament that unites a man and a woman in a lifelong partnership of love and mutual support. In the Catholic Church, marriage is seen as a sacred covenant blessed by God. Through the exchange of vows before a priest or deacon along with the couple’s witnesses, the bride and groom promise to faithfully love and care for each other, and to raise their children in the faith.

WEDDING PLANNING

At Prince of Peace, we joyfully welcome couples preparing to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage. We see this as a sacred journey, and it is our privilege to walk with you as you begin your life together in Christ.

Couples are encouraged to contact the parish office at 205-822-9125  to reserve a wedding date. Please reach out at least six months before your desired date so we can plan and prepare together.

Our Marriage Coordinator will accompany you through the preparation process, explain the parish’s liturgical guidelines, and provide ongoing support as you ready your hearts and lives for this holy sacrament.
