The Acts of the Apostles, attributed to Luke, is the second volume of Luke's two-part work, following the Gospel of Luke. It tells the story of the early Church's birth, growth, and spread, beginning with the Ascension of Jesus and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Acts presents the bold witness of the apostles Peter and Paul as they proclaim the risen Christ, face persecution, and carry the Gospel from Jerusalem to the ends of the known world. This 4-part series will be led by Dr. Dale Wisely.
Dale Wisely Ph.D. is Director of Parish Health at Prince of Peace, Dr. Wisely’s Ph.D. in clinical psychology is from the University of Memphis.
