Small Groups give us a place to deepen our discipleship, experience true, Christian friendship, and build a culture where everyone knows they belong in the Body of Christ.

As we prepare to enter the sacred season of Lent, the entire Prince of Peace community is invited to journey through Hallow’s Pray40 Lenten prayer challenge. Prince of Peace, for both the parish and the school, has partnered with the Hallow App, and we have our own parish page right in the app. It is a place where we can pray together, share intentions, encourage one another, and truly become a community of prayer — whether you’re joining with a subscription or without one.

The Lent Pray40 begins on Ash Wednesday, February 18, and can be found right on our new parish page. You can access our parish community page by scanning the QR code. After you’ve installed the app and joined the parish community page, you can return to that page using the small church icon at the bottom of the screen.

Our families with children can take part in the Kids’ Lent Challenge: Miracle Hunters, which will be available on our parish page as well. The Kids’ Lent Challenge also begins on Ash Wednesday, February 18. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to journey through Lent together in an engaging and meaningful way, helping children grow in prayer while walking alongside our wider parish community. As we do this together, please also know that our teenagers will be invited to participate in their own unique way, through The180 Challenge, made especially for them. Prince of Peace School children will also be walking through these challenges in the classroom and at home!

Let’s walk these forty days together on our parish page. Share your reflections. Ask for prayers from the community. Support one another along the way. What God is doing in your heart may be exactly what someone else needs to hear

A POWERFUL EVENING OF INSPIRATION, STORIES, & MUSIC
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11  |  DEASY HALL

You are invited to a concert at Prince of Peace on Wednesday, March 11 at 6:30pm in Deasy Hall.  Using songs and stories about his missionary activity in Haiti, musician Sean Forrest will encourage us to take responsibility for one another, care for others, and shoulder each other's burdens, all aspects of solidarity. Join us for dinner at 6pm, then stay for an uplifting Lenten evening.

In a world where faith can feel routine or even boring, Sean Forrest delivers a wake-up call: the Gospel is alive, and it’s calling us into action. Sean traded the spotlight of ski resorts, cruises, and concerts for a mission in the mountains of Haiti. As the co-founder of Haiti180, he shares raw, real stories of transformation that challenge Catholics to step out of their comfort zones and become the hands and feet of Christ. Through bold storytelling, heartfelt music, and laughter, Sean will inspire you to move from maintenance to mission—making your Catholic faith come alive in a way that sticks. Join us for dinner and a great concert!

Please come on St Joseph's Day as we join our Italian-American parishioners in this great cultural tradition of the St. Joseph Altar. In honor of the foster-father of Jesus, we will bring food and gifts for the poor, and place them on a special altar where we venerate this great Saint.  We will enjoy an Italian meatless dinner and other cultural goodies.

Bring the whole family, and join us for whatever part of the evening you can!

The Office of Parish Life works to support and promote a Catholic lifestyle at Prince of Peace Catholic Church; one that:

  • Deepens our conversion as disciples of Jesus Christ

  • Provides a context for true, human relationships to develop in Christian friendship

  • Builds a community, where all people experience their belonging in the Body of Christ

Through support and development of small, Christian communities (small groups), training and development of leaders and facilitators, and events and programming that provide points of connection for people to know and be known by others, we seek to truly embody, “All are welcome.”
