Katie Zielinski is the Director of Faith Formation for Youth. She coordinates all faith-related youth activities including formation in sacraments, youth groups, and religious education. Katie has over thirty years’ experience in education, most recently serving as Assistant Superintendent of Academics for the Diocese of Birmingham Catholic Schools. She has worked in both Catholic and public-school settings as a math teacher and administrator. Growing up, her family cultivated a love of God built on prayer. They modeled and instilled a sense of service to the church. Over the years, Katie has served in many roles from teacher to lector to musician. She is excited to partner with Prince of Peace parents in the faith formation of their children. Katie holds education specialist and master’s degrees in educational administration and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a concentration in mathematics.
