GET INVOLVED AT POP

Are you interested in serving at Mass?

From Ushers and Greeters, to Readers and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Altar Servers and those who want to assist at the Mass and those who wish to serve "Behind-the-Scenes" with altar linens or candles we're always looking for committed individuals to participate in various areas of the mass.

We are a parish that embraces and promotes the stewardship way of life as exemplified by Jesus Christ. We seek to grow in gratitude for our abundant blessings, to challenge ourselves to stretch beyond what is comfortable, and to sacrifice. We share our presence, our prayers, our gifts and our service to continue Christ’s mission of transforming the world one person at a time.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
COUNCIL #11537

The Knights of Columbus is a well-known Catholic men's fraternal organization that serves our church and school community. Financial products for members and their family are also offered. The Prince of Peace Council #11537 provides men of our parish (starting at 18 years old) the opportunity to grow in their Catholic faith as they participate in the four degrees of the organization. The Council’s events and charitable outreaches offer many different ways to serve both our parish and community. They meet on the second and fourth Monday of the month at 7pm at the church.

The Prince of Peace Ladies Auxiliary holds membership in the Alabama State Kouncil Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus. The state organization offers annual scholarships to Catholic women pursuing higher education. Three high school seniors from Prince of Peace have won the scholarship.
