    The Old Testament Book of Jonah tells a story that everyone knows something about, if little more than Jonah gets “swallowed by a whale.” The book tells of a Hebrew prophet, Jonah, who is sent by God to prophesy the destruction of Ninevah. It is a colorful story with a rich theological history.
