PARISH LIFE NIGHT:

Welcome to Belonging Series

WEDNESDAYS | 6PM | DEASY HALL

JAN. 14 – FEB. 11

"Moving from 'Welcome' to Belonging"

Our own parish staff will present this follow-up program to our fall Alpha sessions.  These winter sessions will educate participants about ways to help others navigate the path from their initial church welcome to a true sense of belonging and participation. For our guide, we will use principles from the book "The Four Ways Forward: Becoming an Apostolic Parish in a Post-Christian World" by Susan Windley-Daoust.

Content will be presented in a format similar to Alpha: short talks followed by breaks for discussion and building friendships.

  • Doors open 5:30pm

  • Dinner at 6pm

  • Program starts at 6:30pm

You can bring the whole family! We will eat dinner together, then separate programs for the adults, middle and high school youth, and children will be offered.  There will also be childcare available in the church nursery.  Please RSVP for dinner.

The Office of Parish Life works to support and promote a Catholic lifestyle at Prince of Peace Catholic Church; one that:

  • Deepens our conversion as disciples of Jesus Christ

  • Provides a context for true, human relationships to develop in Christian friendship

  • Builds a community, where all people experience their belonging in the Body of Christ

Through support and development of small, Christian communities (small groups), training and development of leaders and facilitators, and events and programming that provide points of connection for people to know and be known by others, we seek to truly embody, “All are welcome.”
